1. Take a breath and see what is around you. Really look and be present.
2. Notice the physical sensations in your body. Don't fight the feelings--embrace them. (The more you can feel and accept what's going on in your body, the less you will be stuck in your mind.)
3. Breathe deeply
4. Every time you notice a negative or intrusive thought, say to yourself "I'm back," and come back to the room. Re-engage
"what you resist, persists."
